Vulture Awareness using Wall Murals and Paintings

கல்லிலே கலை வண்ணத்தைப் படைத்த கலைஞர் மா. சந்தோஷ்.
இவரது சொந்த ஊர் தலைமலை அருகிலுள்ள அல்லபுரம் தொட்டி ஆகும். பழங்குடியின இளைஞரான இவருக்குள் இருக்கும் திறமையைக் கண்டு பழங்குடிகளையும் பாறுக் கழுகுகளையும் இணைக்கும் நோக்கோடு அவரைப் பாறு கழுகு குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு ஓவியம் வரையக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டேன். அவரது கைவண்ணத்தில் 12 இடங்களில் பாறு கழுகுகள் உயிர்பெற்றுள்ளன. தற்போது கூழாங்கல்லிலும் அவரது கைவண்ணத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளார். தற்போது அருளகத்தில் தனது பங்களிப்பை நல்கிவரும் அவருக்கு அருளகம் தனது வாழ்த்தைத் தெரிவிக்கிறது

 

 

Artist Ma. Santosh, known for his ability to create vibrant, artistic colors in stone, hails from the village of Allapuram Thotty, near Thalaimalai. Arulagam Secretary Mr. Bharatidasan S,  requested this young tribal artist to create awareness paintings focused on Vultures—with the aim of fostering a deeper connection between the tribal community and these majestic birds.

Through his unique artwork, Ma. Santosh has brought the Vultures to life across 12 different locations. He is now also painting Vultures on pebbles. We  extend our heartfelt greetings to Ma. Santosh for his contributions to Team Arulagam and our Vulture awareness activities.
