Cascade training

Day 1 (15-03-2023) 
Namakkal District

Cascade training on BMW for the doctors of the Namakkal District Health Service Centre was conducted on 15-03-2023. 

Mr. Amithalingam, Arulagam, explained the BMW Rules and laws. Further, he organised an activity-based training on the segregation of BMW. 

Mr. Mani, the trainer, highlighted the need for the safe disposal of Biomedical wastes, using a Powerpoint.  

Mr. John emphasised the do's and don’ts of handling the BMW and he also sensitised to avoid pilferage during intra-mural and extra-mural transportation.

Suggestions and feedback were collected from the participants. We witnessed enthusiastic participation among the participants.

Training for other target audiences viz., staff nurses, health workers and lab technicians will continue till 18 March 2023 Saturday.
