கால்நடை விவசாயிகள் கருத்தரங்கம் நிகழ்ச்சி
தமிழ்நாடு கால்நடை மருத்துவ பல்கலைகழகம் கால்நடை பல்கலைகழக பயிற்சி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி மையம் கோயம்புத்தூர் மற்றும் தமிழ்நாடு கால்நடை வளர்ச்சி முகமை (தேசிய கால்நடை இனவிருத்தி திட்டம் ) நிதியுடன் நடத்தப்படும் தமிழகத்தின் கறவை மாடுகளில் இனபெருக்கத் திறனை அதிகரிததலுக்கான தீவன வழிமுறைகள் விவசயிகளுக்கான வழிகாட்டுதல் கருத்தரங்க நிகழ்ச்சி சரவணம்பட்டியில் உள்ள எஸ் எம் எஸ் மஹாலில் நடந்தது. இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் விவசாயிகள் கலந்துகொண்டனர்
இந்த கருத்தரங்கத்தில் அருளகம் அமைப்பு சார்பாக பாறு கழுகுகள் பாதுகாப்பினை வழியிறுத்தி விழிப்புணர்வு கண்காட்சி நடைபெற்றது. விவசாயிகளுக்கும் எஸ் கே எம் பீட்ஸ் நிறுவன சார்பாக கலந்துகொண்ட ஊழியர்களுக்கும் கழுகுகள் குறித்த பாம்லேட்ச்களும் வழங்கப்பட்டது. நிகழ்ச்சியில் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த பதாகைகளை அனைவரும் வியப்புடன் வாசித்தனர். மத்திய மாநில அரசால் கால்நடைகளுக்கு பயன்படுத்துவதற்கு தடைசெய்யப்பட்ட டைக்குளோபினாக் மருந்தைப்பற்றி தெரிந்து கொண்டனர். தாங்களும் பாறு கழுகுகளை பாதுகாப்பதில் பங்குகொள்கிறோம் என்று கூறினர்.
இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியினை ஒரிங்கினைத்த பல்கலைகழக மருத்துவர் சிவகுமார் அவர்கள் அருளகம் அமைப்பு செய்துவரும் இப்பணியினை பாராட்டினார். அத்துடன் நாங்கள் நடத்தும் ஒவ்வொரு கருத்தரங்க நிகழ்ச்சிக்கும் கலந்துகொள்ள விருப்பம் தெரிவித்தார்.
அருளகம் செயலர் சு பாரதிதாசன் மேற்பார்வையில் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் பி அருணகிரிநாதன் மற்றும் தனார்வலர் கார்த்திக் ஆகியோர் விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சியினை ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்தனர்.
Awareness programme at TANUVAS Seminar
A seminar for farmers and cattle owners was conducted at SMS Mahal, Saravanampatti, Coimbatore, on 28th August, 2017.
The seminar titled “Cattle feed methodology for increasing reproducing capacity in dairy cows of Tamil Nadu- A guidance programme for farmers” was conducted by the Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) and Veterinary University Training and Research Centre, Coimbatore with the funding of Tamil Nadu Livestock Development Agency (National livestock breeding program)
Farmers and cattle owners from the surrounding regions actively attended the one-day seminar, in which Arulagam, displayed an awareness exhibition to create an outreach emphasising Vulture conservation. Banners on the impact of Diclofenac, a drug that has been banned by state and central governments, for use on cattle, were put up which were read and received with interest by the participants. They assured to join hands and support conservation of vultures, by spreading awareness and providing information if they come across the usage of Diclofenac on cattle. Pamphlets containing information on vultures were distributed to the farmers and the employees of SKM Cattle Feeds.
Dr.Sivakumar of Veterinary University Training and Research Centre, Coimbatore, who organised the seminar, appreciated the effort of Arulagam and offered support to showcase awareness exhibits in similar seminars in the future.
The awareness programme was arranged by P. Arunagirinathan, Coordinator, Arulagam and SS.Karthic, volunteer, supervised by S.Bharathidasan, Secretary of Arulagam.
